Amassia Book #3 – Circle of Ruin
My lovely readers,
2006 – We have all been waiting for this book — you, me, the editors, vendors, readers, writers and critics alike. The sad-face news is that the publishing house that took on this project in 2019 is not going forward at this time. This may be partly because Curse of Shadows (book #2) didn’t perform well. The reviews were excellent, even receiving a Starred Review from the coveted School Library Journal. But sales did not meet expectations. Partly also, it could be that the editor at the time did not respond well to the manuscript.
This is speculation. I do not actually know.
Because I have received no news for over a year and a half, I think it is a case of ‘no news means no’…
The happy-face side is that I am brainstorming ways to make the book available to keen readers through self-publishing or perhaps a serialised web novel. I have a few author friends who are going in these directions, and I plan to tap their genius soon.
I want to see the story through, so please keep the faith that it will happen!

2004 – As many of you have noticed, the release date for Circle of Ruin has been MOVED (not cancelled!) Macmillan, the publisher that distributes for Entangled, had to change the date due to scheduling. Both Mac and EP are very excited for the release of Book #3 in the Amassia series and apologize for the wait!
It will be announce here, and EVERYWHERE on social media, when there is a new release date. I hope it is soon!

They decide and have control over the when, where and how and it’s based on many factors… I apologize for the promise of three books when there are still only two. Your first two books are so incredible it’s one of the only books I’ve ever read that didn’t have what I call filler or boring parts. Both of them were nonstop action they had everything you could ever want. Excitement romance, they made you think I constantly had you guessing.the end of the second book that cliffhanger wow so good. The only problem is every day waiting for the third one feels like a little piece of me dies.🤪😂 hopefully that third one coming soon.

I know how frustrating it is to wait for book three. My apologies! I can promise you it is written, but the release date was delayed for reasons far beyond my control.

I don’t know the release date yet, but I will announce it, as will @entangledteen (who is loving this big splash finish to the series), just as soon as it is known.

Hi Rebecca, I am glad you are into the series. I’m in the editorial process right now and we’re meeting soon to discuss the timeline for release. Mostly we’ll discuss how quickly I can get the edits back to them each round!
Definitely 2024 and hopefully in about 6 months.
If you are hankering to explore the world of the Mar in the meanwhile, I do have a title called The Blood in the Beginning that is more an Urban Fantasy but rich with the science behind the Mar. It takes place in our future but way before the world of Amassia. You’ll recognize the King of the Sea for sure, and one of his most troublesome daughters.
